|PIC1|Switchfoot is currently shooting a new music video for "Awakening", from their latest critically acclaimed album Oh! Gravity..

"'Awakening' has become a favourite of yours and ours, and it feels good to have you involved in helping us choose this single," Switchfoot expressed on their website.

Just back from a sell-out concert run through Europe, popular rock band Switchfoot is currently on a 41-city "Oh! Gravity Tour" of the United States and Canada.

During the European tour, the band, who are popular among the Christian community for their spiritually-yearning songs and their humble "backstage" presence, enchanted heated concertgoers with old and new songs.

Lead singer Jonathan Foreman shares with Christian Today: "It's something to be thankful for. You can come half-way around the world and you have people singing along. That's an honour."

Switchfoot's latest album Oh! Gravity. has been critically acclaimed worldwide, with the Associated Press calling it "an outstanding record in every sense."

Their previous album The Beautiful Letdown went double-platinum in 2004.
