Ryan Seacrest continues the annual New Year's Eve tradition started by Dick Clark back in 1972 by hosting the long-running "New Year's Rockin' Eve" extravaganza a few hours before 2014 ends. 

The star-studded New Year's party will feature a strong roster of artists, including some of the biggest names today. One of those who will spearhead the celebrations in Hollywood is the popular British boyband One Direction, who will perform four of their best songs, namely "What Makes You Beautiful," "Story of My Life," "Steal my Girl," and "Night Changes."

On the other hand, country/pop singer Taylor Swift will be the one leading the list of performers in Times Square, New York. Some of her hit songs that will be performed are "Shake It Off" and "Welcome to New York." 

This line-up is interesting, considering the past relationship between Swift and One Direction member Harry Styles. 

But apart from the two artists, other notable celebrities are scheduled to appear in the New Year's Eve festivities.

In New York, Florida Georgia Line will perform a three-song medley that is comprised of their hit songs "Cruise," "This Is How We Roll," and "Sun Daze." It will be followed by Idina Menzel's performance of the iconic Disney song "Let It Go," then MAGIC! will sing their 2014 hit songs "Rude" and "Let Your Hair Down." 

Hollywood performers include: Charli XCX, who will sing "Boom Clap" and "Break the Rules"; Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, who will perform her single "L.A. Love (La La)"; Meghan Trainor who will sing "All About That Bass" and "Lips are Movin'"; and Bastille, who will perform "Pompeii" and "Of the Night." Then, Jason Derulo's hit singles "Talk Dirty," "Trumpets," and "Wiggle" will also be heard, as well as Pentatonix' "La La Latch" and "On My Way Home." Then finally, Rixton will perform "Me and My Broken Heart" and "Hotel Ceiling." 

A remote feed from Nashville will also be played, wherein Lady Antebellum will sing "Bartender" and Gavin DeGraw will perform "Finest Hour."
