New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is back with the team after serving a one-game suspension and said following Wednesday's practice that he learned from the sanction handed by the National Football League (NFL). 

The NFL suspended Beckham for their game against the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday following his actions, including a helmet-to-helmet hit on cornerback Josh Norman, in Week 15's defeat to the Carolina Panthers. 

But coming out of suspension, Beckham said he learned from it, although the way he plays will remain the same. 

"I don't think anything's going to change except learning from this experience," Beckham told reporters after their practice last Wednesday. 

"I don't think I'm going to play with any less intensity. I don't think I'm going to play with any less emotion," 23-year-old wide receiver added. 

According to ESPN, Beckham was also asked by reporters about Norman; the baseball bat gesture by the Panthers; the words exchanged during the heated game versus Carolina; and if he has seen the video of his action during that game. 

Beckham then spoke about not wanting to do what he did on the field against the Panthers. 

"To be caught up in such a moment, you don't want to put the team in that situation and you don't want to show that to kids. I wasn't controlling myself and I ended up hurting my team," Beckham stated. 

"It's poor sportsmanship and not something you want to put on film," the former first round pick added. 

If Beckham was not suspended versus the Vikings, he would have played his first full season. In his rookie year, he was limited to only 12 regular season games. 

This 2015 season playing in 14 games, Beckham has 91 receptions for already career-bests 1,396 yards and 13 touchdowns. 

Despite another productive season from Beckham, the Giants are on their way to missing the playoffs tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the second spot in the National Football Conference (NFC) East with a 6–9 record.
