New York Giants vs Baltimore Ravens live stream (CBS): Watch NFL football 2016 online

The New York Giants and the Baltimore Ravens will clash in a huge match up for Week 6 in the NFL. The Giants will host this one at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, with a start time of 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Giants are in desperate need of a win today to get their season back on track. Last week they suffered a third loss of the season so far as they lost a road game against the Green Bay Packers 16-23.

That result saw the Giants drop back to 2-3, and another loss today would leave them lingering on 2-4 and with a mountain to climb to get back into contention in the NFC East.

However, if they can get a result today then they could move back to an even record and at 3-3 they could become competitive again if other results go their way and they can string together a number of wins over the coming month.

The Ravens will be a tough challenge for the Giants though, and Baltimore will be desperate to get back to winning ways today after suffering a home defeat to the Washington Redskins last week. That 16-10 loss for the Ravens was their second defeat of the season and leaves them on 3-2. Another loss today would erase a all the good work they did over the opening month of the season, and would leave them in a very uncertain position as November nears.

Earlier this week, Week 6 got started with a big game between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football.

The Broncos came into the game as heavy favorites, with most expecting them to bounce back from their first defeat of the season a week before. However, it became apparent that Denver's first loss was not simply a minor blip, and they now appear to be heading into a slump in form as they were defeated 21-13 by the Chargers.

San Diego were in charge throughout, and heading into the final quarter, the Chargers were 19-3 ahead. The Broncos finally showed some life in offense in the fourth quarter, but 10 points was nowhere near enough to get them back into the game.

That result dropped the Broncos back to 4-2, and simultaneously lifted the Chargers up to 2-4 and gives them a tiny glimmer of hope that this season still holds something for them.

The victory will be sweet relief for San Diego fans, who have witnessed their team constantly choke to give away fourth quarter leads again and again this season to drop to 1-4.

Although there were signs of what had gone on in previous games here, the result was never seriously in doubt. Chargers' fans will still have been holding their breath though when the Broncos shortened the lead to 8 points with 32 seconds left, but a last gasp drive from the Broncos ended with a failed Hail Mary and finally the San Diego faithful were able to breathe again.

The Broncos now have time to rest with an extra long week before returning in Week 7 on Monday Night Football to face the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, the Chargers won't play again until two Sundays from now when they will take on the Atlanta Falcons.
