Sasha Vujacic will play for the New York Knicks once again next season, according to New York Post. The shooting guard agreed to sign a one-year deal worth $1.4 million.

As per the publication, Vujacic has been in negotiation with two other NBA teams and even European clubs, but ultimately chose to be back in New York Knicks.

Although the numbers Vujajic crunched last season are not all around impressive, his experience is what is keeping Knicks all over the veteran guard.

Franchise president Phil Jackson had to be quick on signing Vujajic again, especially because he will find a hard time looking for someone like him following the exit of Langston Galloway, who went to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Vujajic also possesses the advantage of taking the triangle system to heart, thanks to his coaching experience with Jackson when they were in Los Angeles Lakers. Jackson believes the said offensive scheme will help Knicks, especially with Vujajic in it.

Because Vujajic is reuniting with the New York Knicks, the team now has 13 players under guaranteed contracts for the upcoming season. He also becomes the fight player to renew a contract with the team.

Meanwhile, Justin Holiday, who was traded by Chicago Bulls to the Knicks with Derrick Rose, serves as a backup to Courtney Lee and now to Vujajic. Holiday recently spoke about his plans during his Knicks run.

In an interview with ESPN, he said that he believes he will "fit well" with the Knicks, thanks to him being "coachable" and his ability to "adjust in any situation I'm in."

"I've played in a lot of different offenses. I've played with a lot of different people. And I think being a part of this team, and also having Derrick with me, who I'm familiar with, I think I'll mesh well with these guys," he added.
