The New York Mets will play the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night in Game 4 of the NL Championship Series as the Mets look to book their place in the World Series. New York come into this game with a 3-0 lead and will look to complete a sweep of the Cubs with a fourth straight win at Wrigley Field tonight. The game has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the TBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

Tonight's big game will see Steven Matz and Jason Hammel come out as the starting pitchers for the two teams, and the Cubs cannot afford anymore slip ups if they are to stay in this series and keep their MLB Playoffs 2015 hopes alive.

Matz will be making his second postseason start; his first came against the LA Dodgers where he allowed three runs across five innings in Game 4 of the NLDS. He has never faced the Cubs and this season has gone 4-0 with a 2.27 ERA and 34 K.

In comparison Hammel has gone 10-7 with a 3.74 ERA and 172 K. He took part previously in Game 4 of the National League Division Series against the Cardinals, where he allowed four runs across three innings. He will have to be at his absolute best tonight to keep the Cubs in it, and if Chicago are to make the World Series from here they will have to win four straight games starting with this one tonight.

The comprehensiveness of the Mets demolition of the Cubs so far in this series has surprised many. During the regular season series between these two teams the Cubs went 7-0.

But the Mets are a different team here, and through the opening three games of this series they have compiled a 1.67 ERA, which has seen them go 3-0 up and move to within just one more victory of making the World Series.

On Tuesday, deGrom put in a strong performance, giving up two runs over four innings, and then shut out the Cubs completely as the Mets won 5-2 on the night.

Mets manager Terry Collins has said, "Being up 3-0, we're very, very fortunate, because the Cubs have played great."
