Nexus 5 2015 is a frequent subject of rumor mills in the past few days. Recently, a live photo allegedly showcasing LG's version of the device emerged. It is dipped in white and it appears to have a plastic rear that bears a large Nexus logo.

It also appears to show the fingerprint scanner below what looks to be a protruding rear-facing camera. There is also what is believed to be LG's logo plastered on the bottom part of the device's rear. Other than all that, there's no other information to extract.

Luckily though, there are also new photos of cases allegedly made for the Nexus 5 2015. These cases are being offered by an online retailer called AliExpress and are fashioned to accommodate the camera hump with the dual LED flash and the laser autofocus as well as the fingerprint scanner. The cases should be perfect for the Nexus 5 2015 on the abovementioned leaked live photo.

The Nexus 5 2015 is expected to be introduced formally in October or November if Google follows its usual release pattern. If the rumor mills got it right, Google will be releasing two versions – one made by LG and the other made by Huawei.

It is expected that the LG variant will come out with a 5.2-inch display while Huawei's will be bigger at 5.7 inches. The latter is rumored to be fitted out with the tech firm's own Kirin 950 chipset, which a recent benchmark test proved to be powerful enough to drive the big handset.

The LG-made Nexus 5 2015, on the other hand, is speculated to boast a 13-megapixel primary shooter and a 4-megapixel selfie snapper. It is also said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor under its hood, along with a hefty 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
