Google's Nexus 5 2015 is a frequent subject in rumor mills. One new leak comes from tech site Android Police, which obtained details on the basic specifications of the LG-made version of the device.

According to the publication, which credited unnamed sources for the information, the upcoming Nexus smartphone will come with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) display. The site notes that the screen resolution Google is going with will help it curb power consumption, thus prolonging the battery life.

Regarding the battery, the device is said to get a 2700 mAh unit, small in comparison with other current devices although it should pack enough power.

The Nexus 5 2015 is reportedly going to be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and this will be complemented with a 3 GB RAM with 16 and 32 GB storage options.

Imaging-wise, users are looking at a 12.3-MP shooter on the device's rear and a 5-MP snapper on its front. Earlier rumors, however, said that the latter will be at 13 megapixels. Also, LG will reportedly use a USB Type-C reversible port for its Nexus 5 reboot. The rumored flagship is expected to be one of the first devices to offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

There are no pricing details as of yet but it is recognized that the value of the device will match that of a sub-flagship. This means that its price could start at $300.

Google and LG are set to take the wraps off the Nexus 5 2015 by the end of this month. Huawei is also expected to join in to reveal a bigger Nexus 5 iteration or a Nexus 6 it is said to be working on. Just recently, BGR spotted cases for the pair of devices, which had cutouts for a fingerprint scanner that will go on the back under the primary camera.
