More leaked reports about the upcoming 2015 edition of the LG-manufactured Nexus 5 are making the rounds online. 

A source allegedly told Android Police some of the basic specs of the soon-to-be released Nexus 5 2015. The report mentioned that the smartphone will come out with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 GPU, as well as 3 GB of RAM under the hood. It will also be equipped with a 12.3-megapixel primary rear camera and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter, as well as a 2700 mAh battery pack. The new version of Google's smartphone will also come in 16 GB and 32 GB variants.

Meanwhile, latest reports claim that the new Nexus 5 will come with the latest USB Type-C port. This technology is already available in Apple's latest MacBook product, and it will soon come out in different devices as well. 

The USB Type-C technology, which comes with a smaller physical connector, has faster speeds and improved power delivery compared to the older types of USB connections. Having this feature in the next version of the Nexus 5 means that the new device will come with more improvements compared to its predecessor. 

While Google has yet to confirm if the latest round of speculations are true, there have been rumors that the device will come out on Sept. 29. According to a Korean news site, Google will launch the latest LG-manufactured Nexus 5 alongside the new Nexus 6 phablet later this month. The devices will allegedly feature Google's latest mobile operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Still, all these information should be taken with a grain of salt since the reports did not come directly from Google. 

The original Nexus 5 first came out in October 2013, and it was discontinued beginning March 11. Google is expected to release more information about the new model soon.
