Gizmo China earlier reported that iSuppli director of China research Kevin Yang confirmed that the upcoming smartphone powered by Google will now be manufactured by Huawei. According to the report, Google chose the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer because it is currently the largest competitor of Xiaomi.

Rumors claim that the soon-to-be released Nexus 5 2015 will come with a 5.1-inch quad HD resolution display, an aluminum housing, a built-in 3 GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter as well as a 3000 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, two highly competitive smartphones were announced last month. One of them comes from the South Korean mobile brand LG, and the other one comes from the Japanese consumer electronics and mobile manufacturer Sony.
