Industry giant Google has already announced that a major event will be happening on Sept. 29 in San Francisco. However, other details about the upcoming event are still scarce, such as what will Google be launching on the date, and whether people not present at the tech giant's San Francisco press event can still participate.

Luckily, as with any previous events by Google and in what has become industry standard, the event will be covered by many industry observers, each providing its own take on the event. Aside from giving fresh information about the event, observers like CNET and Android Central will also provide their realtime coverage. Other websites such as Livestream will also offer real-time coverage.

In addition, Google also plans to provide updates of the event to its legions of fans around the world via its official YouTube channel.

The event, which will start at 9 a.m. PDT, is rumored to focus on lifting the veil off its upcoming mobile platform, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The speculations seem to be close to the truth, as the press invites to the event last week read, "Join us for some tasty new treats and much s'more."

Meanwhile, aside from the new Android version, observers are also expecting Google to partner the 6.0 Marshmallow announcement with at least two new Nexus flagship devices, allegedly the Nexus 5X by LG and the Nexus 6P by China-based Huawei.

Much has been said about the speculated new Nexus phones, such as that the Nexus 5X will come with a 5.2-inch display and 4 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the Nexus 6P will allegedly come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and the brand-new and powerful Snapdragon 820 processor.

Google is also rumored to be coming out with announcements and details about the Chromecast 2 and Chromecast Audio.
