New live photos of an alleged Nexus handset from Huawei are now making the online rounds. Thanks to this brand new leak, users get to have a better look at the appearance of the upcoming smartphone, which is being dubbed as the Nexus 6.

The biggest takeaway from the photos is the big camera hump on the device's rear. The ridge, which runs from the device's left edge all the way to the right, is plastered on the topmost part of the handset's metal back.

Not counting the ridge, the alleged Nexus 6 is said to measure 159.4 x 78.4 x 6.6 mm; with the thickness going up to 8.5 mm. There is also a circular cutout under this hump and media outlets think this space will be taken up by the Huawei device's fingerprint scanner.

The leaked images also show a pair of oblong panels — one on top next to the selfie camera and the other on the bottom portion. These are believed to be the phone's speakers.

The Huawei-made Nexus is purportedly getting a 5.7-inch display which renders sharp Quad HD quality. GSM Arena says that this screen size makes its Nexus designation a bit odd. It is worth noting that there are previous rumors that a Nexus 5 2015 variant is also being made by LG.

The so-called Nexus 6 is said to be getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of RAM. This should pair up nicely with a 3500 mAh battery. It is likely getting the reversible USB Type-C connector and is expected to be the first to don the newly-unveiled Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Huawei Nexus 6 is said to be released this fall together with a Nexus 5 reboot from LG.
