Android L, Nexus 8 and Nexus 9, all coming out in November?

For all Google and Android fans, Halloween Day should prove to be a festive event with the release of Google's newest smartphone, the Nexus 6. This is excellent news for everyone who's been anxiously waiting for the release of the new phone.

Android Authority reported that the Nexus 6 will be released on Nov. 1. The report was based on two sources who are familiar with Google's plans.

Further, the same report explained that Google will have an event on Oct. 16. This event will be a major one as Google is set to reveal three new products. The first is a new software from Android called Android L and many believe this software to be Android 5.0.

Just like any other Android OS, Android 5.0 will be named after something sweet. According to IBT, the three names being chosen from are Lion, Lollipop or Lemon Meringue Pie. While the last one seems too long for an Android OS name, LMP looks to be the winner here. The final name of Android L or Android 5.0 will be revealed on the third week of October, according to Android Authority.

But even if the name for the updated Android OS is revealed, Android users won't be able to use the software immediately. Reports say that it will take a couple of weeks before users can try the full support 64-bit mobile computing and new visuals of the new OS. Also, Android Authority's report said that the Android L will be available on Nov. 1 for the public.

The next two products that are expected to be revealed during the event are devices that use the Android L. Reports point to the Nexus 9 as one of the devices as it is already gearing for its commercial launch. What about the other device? Rumors point to either the Nexus 6 or Nexus X.
