The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills are set to meet in a huge game for NFL Thursday Night Football tonight at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The game has a scheduled start time of 8.25 p.m. ET, and can be watched on TV on the NFL Network or CBS network, or online through live stream on Twitter via the link below.

Both of these teams will be desperate to claim the victory today to avoid opening up the season 0-2. Ending Week 2 on 1-1 is a world away from being 0-2, and both of these teams will realize that and be going all out to gain the win.

If the Bills are to win today they will need to sort out their offense, which put on one of their worst performances in recent memory last week. Buffalo only managed to put in 160 offensive yard the entire game in Week 1, which was their lowest return in 10 years of football.

Bills offensive coordinator Greg Roman has said, "I will definitely take the blame myself. I think I can do a better job putting us in positions to be successful."

Any repeat of that performance in Week 1's 7-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens could send Buffalo into a downward spiral, and their season could soon be over before it's even gotten started.

Surely one area that they will be looking to improve upon will be quarterback Tyrod Taylor's deep throws. They were distinctly missing from their game against the Ravens, even after he had executed them with such success last year. In the end, Taylor's longest pass was just 33 yards to tight end Charles Clay, and he only had one other throw that went more than 10 yards, which was a 19 yard pass to Sammy Watkins.

Roman said, "We weren't able to get into a rhythm and take those shots when we wanted to. We got a little bit disjointed. We have to stay on the field. When we do that, we're pretty darn good."

Meanwhile, the Jets suffered a 22-23 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, which was tough to take after they had successfully sacked Andy Dalton seven times in the game.

The area that really let New York down was offense, and they will have to improve significantly tonight as they come up against one of the league's top defensive units in the Buffalo Bills.

Center Eric Wood has said about the Bills, "They have so many good players up front. All of us have to show up each play because any one of them can really embarrass you. Another tough test, and we've got to play better this week."

Buffalo have said they are more than happy to be up for Thursday Night Football this week, as it offers them an opportunity to put things right immediately after their poor performance in Week 1, and the quick turnaround doesn't allow the players to ponder on the negatives of their season opener.

Bills' guard Richie Incognito has said, "I think it was a blessing in disguise to get that stinker out of the way and move on and have a great opponent like the Jets coming up. It was great to turn the page fast and get on to the Jets."

He added, "We are a very prideful group and we know what we're capable of and we didn't play up to our potential. When you have a poor showing like that early in the season it leaves a poor taste in your mouth. So we're coming out extra motivated. We're fired up."
