NFL Wild Card 2015 playoffs schedule set

The NFL Wild Card tiffs have been set. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell revealed the date and time of the NFL Wildcard playoffs slated to be held on January 3 and 4, 2015.

On January 3, 2015, the no. 5 seed Arizona Cardinals will meet the Carolina Panthers at 4:35 p.m. (ET). The game will be televised by ESPN. Despite failing to nail a win for over a 62-game stretch, the Panthers have managed to get their act together towards the end.

The Panthers were 4-0 this month, copping the division crown after defeating Atlanta (34-3).

All eyes will be on the Cardinals as well as they try to cope up with injuries to their quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton.

Heading over to the AFC, 8th seed Baltimore goes up against 3rd seed Pittsburgh at 8:15 p.m. (ET) . NBC will be covering the game of these hard hitting rivals. The Steelers and the Ravens meet for the third time in seven seasons. If it is any indication, the Steelers and the Ravens have split their last 14 meetings this season, giving an indication that this is one battle to watch.

On January 4 in the AFC, The Cincinnati Bengals meet the Indianapolis Colts. Gametime is set at 4:35 p.m. ET. NBC will be covering the game.

It seems that the Colts have a decided advantage over the Bengals in this one. Not only did the Colts hand the Bengals their worst defeat, wide receiver A.J. Green may be out due to a concussion, leaving them with a big wall to conquer.

In the NFC billing, the Detroit Lions meet the Dallas Cowboys at 4:40 p.m. (ET). Fox will be covering this one.

This will mark the third straight weekend that Detroit will be on the road. On the other hand, the Cowboys led by Tony Romo try to break a string of losses at the AT&T Stadium.
