Nintendo is notoriously known for getting in trouble meeting the high demands for its products. However, this year, the company is determined to remedy. They are eyeing a massive production of two million units per month as the year's shopping season comes.

With this rate of production and the increasing demand for the unique hybrid console, Nintendo is also looking to achieve its annual shipping goal of 20 million units for this year.

Since its release in March, the Nintendo Switch has proven to be a huge success for the Japanese gaming giant. Initially, players and developers had some hesitations regarding the console as it does not have the same processing and graphical powers of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Over time, the Nintendo Switch has proven itself a capable machine.

The Nintendo-exclusive title "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is one of the biggest games to be released this year. It recently won the Game of the Year award at the Japan Game Awards and has been widely lauded by critics as one of the greatest games ever.

Furthermore, major video game titles have announced that they will be releasing Nintendo Switch versions, including epic, sprawling roleplaying games (RPGs) like "Skyrim," "Doom," and "Wolfenstein II." This proved that Switch has the capability to handle big games despite its limited specifications on paper.

The Switch also has an innate advantage of a flexible, hybrid form factor that allows users to play on a large TV or take the console on-the-go for a handheld gaming experience.

As more games commit to the release of a version for the hybrid gaming console, the demand for it will only get higher, especially as the holiday season draws near.

Nintendo is also expecting a boost in the demand for the console once it gets released in the Chinese market in early 2018.
