"Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" made its debut on Nov. 22. However, shortly after its release, players went from excited to annoyed. While the game launched on the expected date, along with it were an abundance of server errors, frequent crashes, and loading screens that never seemed to progress.

Bugs and glitches are to be expected when multiplayer games first launch their servers, but it's nonetheless an annoyance that has been brought up by several video game news sites such as Polygon and IGN. According to the former, the game was playable enough, but they had to exit it multiple times in order to get the game to cooperate because sometimes communication errors would pop up whenever the player character tried to proceed to a brand new area or tried to do a new task.

Shortly after the complaints, Nintendo reassured their players, stating that they would investigate "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp's" sever errors. Nintendo also sent an in-game notice to their players, stating the problems were due to the high-traffic. They then went on to explain that while the problem was currently ongoing, they were doing their best to investigate and come up with a solution to the problem.

Nintendo even went the extra mile to compensate for the technical errors.

They made another in-game announcement, stating that affected players would receive 20 leaf tickets and that the items would appear in their mailbox sometime from Nov. 23 to Dec. 23. Nintendo went on to say that if the items ended up glitching or didn't appear properly, players would need to exit the game and reload it in order for the items to appear as normal.

"Animal Crossing" is a community sim game that was first released for the Nintendo DS in 2005. The game follows a human player character who must do tasks and pay of their debts in a village filled with animals. "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" follows a slightly different formula and takes place in a campsite. However, similar to past games players will once again be doing quests and other activities with their furry friends.
