Nintendo's "Miitomo" game was finally brought out of Japan so that the rest of the world can have some fun as well. Nintendo released their first mobile game in their home country last Mach 17 and was an instant hit. The new game made a million downloads in just three days, and even pushed the stocks of the company to grow by 8 percent.

"Miitomo" is a free-to-play conversational app that allows its users to ask their friends questions inside the app. It is also capable of connecting to its users' Twitter and Facebook accounts, to make it easier to invite friends. In the game's launch trailer, a question like "If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?" is shown, while on its official website, its tagline is "Think you know your friends? Guess again!"

"First, try answering the various questions your Mii will ask you. Your answers will then be shared with your friends. Sometimes you'll hear answers from your friends, too. If there's an answer that catches your attention, you can also leave a comment about it that will be shared with the person whose answer it is," says Nintendo as it tries to explain Miitomo.

Players can create their own avatar or use their My Nintendo one, called Mii, and they can then start answering questions. Players can visit or be visited by their friends, as well as take pictures of their Mii, which is called Miifotos, and can be shared online.

An in-game currency also exist, Miitomo Coin, which is earned by doing actions within the game. The coins can then be used to customize their Mii's clothing. Additionally, Miitomo Coins and the clothes can be purchased by real currency. MacRumors added that players can earn My Nintendo rewards that can be used to avail of discounts for Nintendo's 3DS and Wii U games and themes.

The Verge reported that "Miitomo" is a combination of the Wii U's Miiverse social network and 3DS's "Tomodachi Life." The report added that the game does not contain any recognizable characters from Nintendo; however, the company will include them in the next mobile game releases.

"Miitomo" was originally announced on Oct. 25, 2015 and was created by DeNa, which is already a veteran in mobile game development. The app will only work when connected to its server, so Internet connection is required.

"Miitomo" is available to download on the App Store and Google Play.
