The Nintendo NX's details are still under the covers. All are still speculations about its specifications and capabilities, but details could all be confirmed this week. It is rumored that the new video game console will be revealed this week and that it will arrive with a $350 price tag. It could also have four launch titles and the same white and blue design like the Wii U.

Seeking Alpha reported that investment banking firm Macquarie stated that Nintendo will finally give the details to its upcoming NX sometime this week, which was earlier than expected. It is also speculated to be priced between $300 to $350, which is way above the previous rumors of $299 for the console and $399 for bundle options.

WCCFTech previously reported that the Nintendo NX is believed to have four games ready upon its release, with one title being Mario related. The new device will have a case similar to the Wii U's color theme, white and blue, although it will be slightly larger. The packaging is also expected to have a minimalist design, clean and simple.

Express UK suggests that a special Nintendo Direct event will happen on Oct. 21 where the upcoming device will be unveiled. The rumored price of $350 could affect the sales performance of the device, considering that for another $50, one could already buy the powerful PlayStation 4 Pro, which also has a bigger game library currently available.

Previous rumors surrounding the console include the use of cartridges instead of optical discs and 4K streaming capability. Games, on the other hand, will still be displayed at 1080p at 60 FPS. It said to be powered by the NVIDIA Pascal Tegra GPU, and it is rumored to be a hybrid device. Gamers can bring along the controller, with a built-in LCD screen, everywhere they want. Upon returning home, they can then attach it to its docking port, and it will work as a pure controller while the display will be on the TV screen.

The Nintendo NX is expected to be released on March 2017.
