Emily Rogers, a known Nintendo insider, recently revealed that the company will soon release reports about its upcoming video game console, called the NX. Rogers claimed that the console "sounds" expensive.

Rogers claimed that these reports will not be coming from Nintendo fan sites, and rather will be coming from major sites. She also adds that she is really not familiar with the pricing scheme of the upcoming product, but she claimed that it may be more expensive than what the community is expecting, WCCFTech reported.

MyNintenodLife added that Rogers claimed that IGN and Kotaku may release the information she was talking about.

Rogers previously said in another post that the Nintendo NX will not be using an x86 architecture like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. She claims that the console will contain a custom-made chip and a very modern physical design. She also slammed the previously rumored Polaris chip and Polaris architecture, said to be employed by Nintendo for its upcoming gaming gadget.

She also said earlier, "In terms of raw power, numerous sources tell me that NX is much closer to Xbox One than PlayStation 4. Even that might be stretching it a tiny bit. Anyone who is claiming that NX is "two times the power of PS4 GPU" is being misled by their sources. Based on what I've heard, I don't believe the NX will compete directly with PS4 (Neo) / PS4K in raw power."

-Nintendo NX is expected to be launch around March 2017 and is a brand new concept. However, no other information is known about the elusive console.

Several months ago, a NeoGAF user posted a patent filed by Nintendo about is oval-shaped touchscreen controller.  It contains two grips at the bottom, and two large buttons sit on the ends.  It also showcases a screen that can display the ongoing gameplay.  It also contains more buttons for additional game controls, The Week UK stated in its report.

Fans can expect more news in the months to come with regards to the Nintendo NX.
