Different game developers are now planning to create games for Nintendo's next gaming platform even as the Japanese console manufacturer has yet to reveal its official release date.

Recent reports revealed that several game developers are already working on their new games for the next gaming platforms. One of them is Spike Chunsoft, the Japanese video game publisher that developed "J-Stars Victory VS" and "Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon."

Express UK spotted a statement from Spike Chunsoft president and CEO Mitsutoshi Sakurai regarding their plans for the soon-to-be released Nintendo NX gaming platform.

"We're not at the level where we can announce anything, but we've started work on the development of a completely new title. Additionally, we have the latest entry in the 'Zero Escape' series, which Kotaro Uchikoshi is making. We're making various other advancements, too."

Square Enix also revealed in July that they have plans to bring the "Dragon Quest XI" to the next Nintendo gaming platform.

Wired UK revealed that the 11th major installment from the "Dragon Quest" franchise is scheduled to be released in 2016 as part of the role-playing game series's 30th anniversary. Its release date will perfectly coincide with the planned unveiling of the Nintendo NX.

Nintendo first announced their plans about the new game console that features an "entirely new concept" during the company's press conference back in March.

The English text of the statement read by the late Nintendo director and president Satoru Iwata reads:

"As proof that Nintendo maintains strong enthusiasm for the dedicated game system business, let me confirm that Nintendo is currently developing a dedicated game platform with a brand-new concept under the development codename 'NX.' It is too early to elaborate on the details of this project, but we hope to share more information with you next year."

But at the moment, the Japanese interactive entertainment corporation has yet to reveal the official release date of the Nintendo NX.
