The Nintendo Switch has become one of the most coveted gaming consoles, especially that buying it does not come easy as it always gets sold out after restock. Luckily, for those who already own the console, a bunch of games for Switch are going to be released this year, and those who pre-order will enjoy a big discount.

BGR has reported that Amazon is offering a 20 percent discount on almost all the big titles coming to the Nintendo Switch console this year. The highly anticipated games available for pre-order include "Minecraft" and "Minecraft: Story Mode," "Super Mario Odyssey," "FIFA," "Dragonball Xenoverse 2", "Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers," "Cars 3: Driven to Win," "Disgaea 5 Complete," "Cave Story+," "ARMS," "Splatoon 2," "Sonic Mania Collector's Edition," "RiME," "NBA 2K18," "Xenoblade 2," "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," "Redout," and "Troll & I."

Note that only Amazon Prime subscribers can avail of the discounts. However, a free 30-day Prime trial is available for those who have not subscribed yet.

The recently released games "Puyo Puyo Tetris" and "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" are also being offered at 20 percent off. According to The Verge, the latter is the first game to "make good" on the Nintendo Switch's multiplayer capability, which is the console's selling point. "Mario Kart" titles are also known to be one of the bestsellers on several consoles. After all, it has been a widely appreciated local multiplayer franchise for years.

In other news, Forbes has reported that Nintendo has been starting to tease the upcoming release of "Pokémon Stars," which is speculated to launch before the year ends. However, it is unclear if it is going to be available only on the 3DS, or if it is coming to the Switch as well. According to the publication, it may be unlikely, but fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from Nintendo soon.
