With Nintendo having already shared some details about its upcoming next generation console, the Nintendo Switch, the question in everyone's minds as of the moment is about the kinds of games that will be coming out for the new gaming console. Nintendo has not yet revealed any information about the launch titles that it would be unveiling alongside the console next year, but there are reports that have tried their best to come up with the most logical conclusions.

The recently released teaser video for the Switch itself was apparently of no help in trying to determine what types of games will be coming out. The video showcased the previously released open world role playing video game, "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim," as the title that was being played on the system. However, Bethesda has not yet confirmed if the game would indeed be coming out for the Swtich. Nintendo also admitted that the footage that was shown on the trailer was actually edited with the game being added post-production.

Nintendo's own upcoming open world game, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," is also highly believed to become a launch title for the console, but new reports have suggested that there may be some challenges in getting the game ready in time for the launch of the Switch. There are reportedly a lot localization problems and bug fixes that need to be dealt with before the game is ready for the new console. Some reports have predicted that the game may arrive a few months later after the Switch is released.

According to the latest reports regarding the highly anticipated hybrid console, the most likely games that will be launching alongside it would be a brand new "Mario" title and a "Splatoon" game that could just be a port of the Wii U version. Nintendo is also reportedly planning a port of its "Mario Kart 8" racing video game, which will include all of the post-release content and DLCs released on the Wii U. Nothing is confirmed as of the moment, so fans would just have to wait and see what games would actually be launched together with the new console.
