Nintendo's upcoming hybrid game console dubbed the Switch won't be out until March of next year. However, toy retailer giant Toys "R" Us may have revealed the price of the next-generation platform.

Several publications reported that the Canadian website of the aforementioned toy retailer purportedly posted a listing for the Switch including its supposed price tag. Though the listing has already been removed from the toy seller's online store, BGR was able to capture a snapshot of the alleged posting which shows some promo photos of the game console, as well as its price amounting to $330 CAD which is about $250 USD.

Would-be buyers were quite elated by the fact that the price of the new game platform will be easy on the pocket since the current mid-generation consoles in the market are priced almost close to that of Nintendo's upcoming hybrid console.

In fact, some major retail outlets who are all geared up for this year's huge Black Friday event have included such devices to be put on sale. Consoles such as the PlayStation 4 Slim and the Xbox One S will be offered somewhere around $250 and up during the said price drop event.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has yet to make a statement on the console's official price which will most likely be spilled early next year during their so-called Nintendo Direct press event.

With that said, anticipating Nintendo fans are well-oriented with the specs of the game platform as it was already boasted in the recent reveal trailer. Moreover, its portability will most likely become one of the console's major selling points as Nintendo pointed out previously that the tablet is the main device while the other peripheral that securely holds the slab will serve as its charging port.

More updates are bound to arrive as the release of the Nintendo Switch draws near so stay tuned for the latest news.
