'Nioh' receives brand new Steam trailer, to hit PC on Nov. 7

Nioh has released a brand-new Steam trailer one week ahead of schedule.

The trailer was uploaded to the developer's Team NINJA Studio's YouTube channel on Nov. 2. "Nioh's" latest trailer serves as a nice snippet of what's to come and what players can expect in the game once it's finally released on PC.

Fans were ecstatic over the trailer's action-packed opening. It started with flashes revealing the faces of monsters then cuts away to the protagonist speaking about death and how it always seems to find him. What follows is a series of intense battles between the protagonist, foes, and a whole bunch of Yokais who sport different powers and weapons.

There's a lot of fighting and it gives players a good hint at what the gameplay will be like, what in-game graphics will look like, and what they can expect in terms of the game's unique monsters and fast-paced, action-oriented fighting scenarios. It also showcases some of the game's magic.

Action-packed fighting scenes aside, the trailer itself ends on a comical note. It features the Steam-exclusive headgear called Dharmachakra Kabuto, a samurai-like helmet with a water-pump like a valve up front.

"Nioh" is coming to Steam on Nov. 7, and the game will come with the previous available downloadable content packs (DLC). These content packs will include Bloodshed's End, Dragon of the North, and Defiant Honor. Each of the DLCs comes with its own unique stories, weapons, and armors. They also come with brand new spirits, all things that contribute to improving upon the main game itself.

Originally a PS4 exclusive that was released earlier in February, "Nioh" puts players into the shoes of samurai William as he travels across Japan to slay Yokai.

Pictures and graphics settings for the PC release of Nioh are already available on PC Master Race. Graphics aside, "Nioh" will reportedly not be supporting mouse controls.
