Game developers Koei Tecmo has confirmed that their samurai role-playing game, "Nioh," will be made available to PC users this coming November. After only being released in the PlayStation 4 in February earlier this year, PC users will have the opportunity to play the game. In addition, PC users will also have access to downloadable content (DLC) along with the option of accessing 4K resolution graphics.

According to Dual Shockers, the announcement made by Koei Tecmo is a shocking one, since the port of "Nioh" to the PC was rather unexpected. Gamers had initially thought that it would be a PlayStation exclusive game. The DLC that will be included upon its availability on the gaming platform Steam will be "Dragon of the North," "Defiant Honor," and "Bloodshed's End." These are three separate stories in the world of "Nioh."

It would appear that the move is inspired by the game's fans, as mentioned by game director Fumihiko Yasuda. He and his team have been fully aware of the demand of PC users requesting for the game to make a release on the PC. As Yasuda made his announcement, he further stated that "I hope you all enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles this action-packed experience has to offer."

Gamespot has reported that the PC version will support two visual options namely "Action Mode," which will be a more game-oriented experience that promises 60 frames per second. This will mean that the fast-paced action style of the gameplay can fully be experienced in this mode.

However, if a PC gaming rig is powerful enough, then players will be able to utilize the second visual option, "Movie Mode." The 4K resolution capabilities offer a truly immersive and beautiful gaming experience. At this point, it is safe to assume that Koei Tecmo will be running the game at lower frame rates for the higher resolution options.

"Nioh: Complete Edition" will be available for the Windows PC on Nov. 7 on Steam.
