"No Man's Sky" could reportedly become capable of providing support for virtual reality headsets.

In a recent interview, "No Man's Sky" creator Sean Murray was questioned about whether or not the game could soon provide support for virtual reality headsets once it is finally released. Specifically, Murray was asked if the game could be played using the Sony Morpheus headset, according to Techno Buffalo.

Interestingly enough, Murray chose to be non-committal when it came to providing an answer. Instead, the "No Man's Sky" creator indicated that he was not exactly free to provide his exact thoughts on the matter. He also added that "No Man's Sky" and virtual reality could make for an ideal pairing. Murray even suggested that pairing his creation up with virtual reality is something that he and the team working on the game have thinking about.

Murray provided no further details regarding a possible virtual reality option being available for "No Man's Sky," although there could certainly be revelations pertinent to the matter that may be released in the very near future, given the comments.

In related news, another bit of important information regarding "No Man's Sky" also appears to be on the verge of being revealed.

According to iDigital Times, the team from Hello Games, developer of "No Man's Sky," recently made an appearance at the PC Gaming Show, and it looked as though they were ready to reveal something important concerning the game.

The team ultimately refrained from actually revealing the information at the event; and as for what that tidbit would have been, Murray said it was the official release date of "No Man's Sky." Murray went on and said that the reason they did not unveil the official release date during the event was because they felt it was not the right time to do so.

Eager players will simply have to wait until Murray and the rest of the team from Hello Games are ready to finally make the big reveal.
