Fans and industry observers alike have been waiting patiently for "No Man's Sky." Already being listed as one of the much-awaited game titles to come out, the space exploration and open-world sandbox game has been rumored to make an appearance next week.

According to the rumor mill, Hello Games has slated "No Man's Sky" to appear in next week's Paris Games Week, to start on Oct. 27. The speculations started after the demo launch for an earlier convention – that of GameCity Festival – was delayed. On the convention's website, Hello Games issued a statement, saying "We realise how disappointing this news is for fans of both the game and the festival, but we hope they can take some comfort in the fact that No Man's Saturday WILL be being rescheduled for a later date."

According to industry follower TechTimes, the setback was due to conflict in schedules and Hello Games prioritizing the upcoming convention in France instead. Based on the statement by the developer, "No Man's Sky" will be appearing in the GamesCity Festival, although it will be on a later date.

The latest that "No Man's Sky" appeared online is with an interview by GamesRadar with Sean Murray, managing director of Hello Games last month.

Meanwhile, it was also rumored that some fans will get an early glimpse of the game, as apparently, their pre-orders will be delivered before the month ends. Amazon has allegedly sent out messages to players who have pre-ordered the game, saying that "No Man's Sky" will be delivered to them by Oct. 28.

However, Amazon was quick to remedy the issue, saying that the email message they sent out was a mistake. Meanwhile, the online retailer giant also told players that they have yet to receive the specific release date for the title, and will send email messages to pre-ordering clients once they have an update.
