The second album of the instrumental electronic post/math rock band 65daysofstatic also serves as the official soundtrack for the much-awaited adventure survival video game "No Man's Sky."

Aptly titled "Music for an Infinite Universe," the album is now available for pre-order and will be released on June 17, four days before the ambitious Hello Games-developed sci-fi title will hit the shelves.

The soundtrack comes in two parts. The first one includes 10 original tracks while the second one boasts six "soundcapes," its entirety not longer than two hours. Fans can listen to the first track of the "No Man's Sky" album on SoundCloud. The song is called "Supermoon."

"No Man's Sky" being a procedurally generated game, the soundtrack will not sound like how it is in the 65daysofstatic album. Instead, gamers will hear it based on how they play the title.

The digital version of the "Music for an Infinite Universe" album is priced at €10.99. For €15.99. "No Man's Sky" fans can get a deluxe double CD of the album along with the digital download.
