Consumers might get their hands on the Nokia 3310 that supports LTE feature pretty soon. Recent reports reveal HMD Global might be releasing an improved version of the 3310 with TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA.

Nokia or HMD Global is yet to announce the official release date of the Nokia 3310 with LTE, its price rate, and if it will bring new features to the table. According to reports, a new feature has been spotted on a TENAA listing for the Nokia 3310. According to the product description, the upgraded version of the 3310 will support two of the most popular wireless bands in China, TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA. The product goes by the equipment model of TA-1077 manufactured by HMD Global Oy. The upcoming phone product will be functional with Alibaba's Yun Operating System or YunOS.

The price rate and specifications of the product are not included on the listing. And with the lack of further details, some costumers and technology websites are asking if the new version will add a larger battery or not. TrustedReviews points out that the 3G function of the most recent version of the phone released back in September 2017 affected the battery life negatively. The Nokia 3310 with 3G received a 4 out of 10 score from TrustedReviews. The publication also indicates that the price rate of $59.99 for the one with the 3G feature is a bit much.

Many consumer electronics critics are now waiting for the official release of the Nokia 3310 with LTE. Customers and experts are hoping for the LTE version to fix the damage caused by the 3G version of Nokia 3310.

The original version of the Nokia 3310 was released back on Sep. 1, 2001. The 2017 edition was released on Feb. 26, 2017 with 2G. And aside from the upcoming Nokia 3310 with LTE, there are also reports that the company might also release Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 this year.
