'Notmycar' gameplay news update: A 'Twisted Metal' battle royale game

Putting the old into the new is not entirely a bad thing. In the same way that making a game similar to the classic "Twisted Metal" games and placing it in a battle royale mode could actually be exciting. That is exactly what "Notmycar" is about. If gamers both loved "Twisted Metal" and "PUBG," they should definitely try out "Notmycar."

It recently popped up in news but the gameplay for the game will be in a special livestream in less than 24 hours, which will hopefully confirm many people's first impressions of it. Previously, only images and a two-second video by Greenskull, a YouTuber and game consultant, were the only sources of the game's gameplay.

Based on the pictures and the short video, players control vehicles that are not exactly the usual "cars." "Twisted Metal" fans would know that these vehicles resemble the game's own vehicles called battle wagons, mounted with rockets, guns, cannons mounted on different parts of the vehicle.

As for how players get into battle, this is where it gets similar to "PUBG." Players get parachuted off a plane and landed on their desired destination. They start out with nothing but looting through "caches" will upgrade the vehicle adding a kind of weapon. Reminiscent to any kind of battle royale game is how the map also gets smaller and smaller as time passes.

Back then "Twisted Metal" was one of the games that many current gamers have grown up with. Surely many "PUBG" fans have at least gone through "Twisted Metal" when they were younger and for "Notmycar," which also goes by the acronym "NMC," to bring in both those games into one game seems like an amazing concept.

For now, not much details are known about the new game. They will presumably be revealed during the livestream that will be available via Greenskull's stream.
