An Ohio woman pulled her child out of school after receiving an insulting voicemail from her son's kindergarten teacher, media outlets reported Sunday.

Ashley Moore received a message from the unidentified  teacher that ended with an offensive rant about her son.

"He has no common sense," the teacher says on the audiotape. "He was seven in May and he's the biggest baby in my group. She still probably wipes his butt."

Moore said she was furious after receiving the offensive voicemail.

"The first thing I wanted to do was get my child out of that school," she told WOIO. "I was very angry."

The boy's grandfather said they now know why the child didn't want to go to school.

"We've had problems for three months now with him not wanting to be there," he said.

"He's afraid, he does not want to go back to her," the mother added. The child was attending Crestwood Elementary, but is now enrolled in another school.

The Elyria School District recently issued an apology to the family.

"We regret the actions of this teacher," they said in a statement. "Her actions certainly don't represent the district's philosophy or the partnerships we have with our parents. We know that individuals can become frustrated but there is no excuse for what occurred and the comments this teacher made.

"We apologize for the hardship this caused the student and his family. The teacher regrets what she said and is apologetic. Her actions have been addressed by the district."

Moore said that any apology from the teacher is insincere.

"The only reason she would be apologizing is that she got caught," she told WOIO. The mother also said that Crestwood's "Excellent" rating from the Department of Education is a sham.

"A school that got an excellence report put on a great facade because I was thinking it was a great school," Moore said.
