Last season, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of "Frozen" made their appearance on "Once Upon a Time," and now for the ABC series' upcoming fifth season, Disney and Pixar's "Brave" is getting the "OUaT" treatment as Scottish princess Merida is joining the fantasy drama.

At the show's Comic-Con panel, executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz previewed a teaser featuring the heroine's archery skills, showing the character wearing a hood while hitting a bullseye of a target before splitting that first arrow with a second one. She then pulls off the hood to reveal her curly red hair. Merida will be played by Scottish actress Amy Mason.

It was also revealed at the panel that the show will hit its 100th episode during season 5, but the producers are keeping mum about the milestone, only saying that they want to make it "very special" and that they want the 100th episode to be the show's spring premiere.

Fans also got their first look at Jennifer Morrison's Emma as the Dark Swan. The season 4 finale saw the darkness from Rumple being accidentally set free and Emma deciding to sacrifice herself for the town. She became the new Dark One to save Storybrooke from destruction.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kitsis said that Emma won't be entirely evil as she is still fighting to stay good, but it looks like Storybrooke's savior may have a hard time doing that.

"Before she's surrendered to it and given into it, the good part of her is fighting with this darkness that is consuming her and it's a constant struggle that's really angsty and intense," said Morrison to EW.

The actress added that emotionally, there is something "fun and free" about Emma being the Dark Swan because she will stop worrying about what other people think and furthermore, she won't be thinking so much about saving people.

"There's a little bit of freedom in that that is really fun," Morrison said.

Season 5 of "Once Upon a Time" premieres on Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
