Actor Michael Socha lost the series regular title for "Once Upon A Time" season 5. This means that his character Will Scarlet, one of Robin Hood's Merry Men, will no longer be seen as much as fans did in the previous season. The actor will stay in the show but will not have as much screen time.

This move worries fans as not much of him was seen in the previous season. Media outlets are even encouraging viewers who came to love Will Scarlet to brace themselves for the presumed nearing departure of the character from the series.

In line with this, other characters were upped to series regulars. Rebecca Mader's Zelena a.k.a. the Wicked Witch of the West is now part of the main cast. She is persistently rumored to be the big baddie in the new season, which was initiated by travelling back in time to take on the appearance of Robin Hood's late wife Marian.

Speaking of Robin Hood, the character portrayed by Sean Maguire, will also be endowed more screen time in season 5 and this has to do with Zelena's evil plan involving Regina.

Meanwhile, new characters will also be introduced upon the show's return and the series is reportedly looking for actors to play them. One is Merlin, the powerful sorcerer who possesses "great wisdom" and the ability to bring Emma, who became the Dark One by the end of season 4, back to her old self.

Another new character said to be coming to the series is King Arthur. Hailing from Camelot, the "good and just ruler" will be known in the show as a "master manipulator" who "can carry a grudge to the grave, and maybe beyond," hinting he is not one to trifle with. King Arthur is in love with "headstrong queen" Guinevere and the casting call for her character is also open.

"Once Upon A Time" season 5 will premiere in fall.
