Fans are starting to worry about Hook after what has gone down so far in "Once Upon A Time" season 5. With the pirate now trapped in the Underworld, it becomes more and more impossible for him to come back.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis hinted at the possible doom of Captain Hook now that he is stuck in a realm of dead heroes and villains, who, as the EPs emphasized, can still kill and be killed.

"He may die there. To be honest, he's already dead," Kitsis said. "He may die harder," Horowitz added before Kitsis chimed in, "He may rot there." While the Underworld won't be the only setting in "Once Upon A Time" season 5, it seems that Hook will spend an awful lot of time there.

It has been an incredible, not to mention complicated, journey for Hook, who became the Dark One in Emma's bid to save his life. While his fate is pretty much mapped out by Kitsis and Horowitz, it looks like Emma is prepared to step in once again to save the love of her life.

The show's executive producers believe that Emma has been in her most fearsome and terrific form yet in "Once Upon A Time" season 5. It would come as a little surprise if she led the charge in bringing Hook back. After all, she is prepared to literally share her heart with him.

The series will return with an episode titled "Souls of the Departed" on March 6 next year. The synopsis of this installment reads:

"The quest to find Hook will begin as the town of Storybrooke becomes the underworld where everyone you thought was dead and buried, is alive and kicking!"

Kitsis and Horowitz also teased that "Once Upon A Time" season 5 will show Belle's life "pre-Rumple," Emma and Regina teaming up in the Underworld and Rumple's Dark One entity influenced by his heroic side.
