'Once Upon A Time' season 5 spoilers: Emma grows darker, Lancelot returns and Zelena back

Apart from the turmoil of Emma's transformation into the Dark One, viewers will also see Zelena's badness take over in "Once Upon A Time" season 5 as well. With the witch bearing Robin Hood's scheme after her charade, Regina and Robin Hood's happy ending hasn't come yet.

This not only makes for a very uncomfortable love triangle but also an exciting storyline fans would love to see unfold in the new season. But ultimately, the arrival and return of new and old characters is what makes viewers impatient for the "Once Upon A Time" season 5 premiere.

The citizens of Camelot are gracing the series, with Lancelot, who made his first appearance back in season 2, making a big return. As executive producer Edward Kitsis said, "You can't go to Camelot and not see Lancelot," who will be played once more by "Teen Wolf" star Sinqua Walls.

Merlin will also be a key character in "Once Upon A Time" season 5, being the sole character that has the knowledge to bring Emma back to her senses. Also, King Arthur and his lady love Guinevere will also be there and it looks like the former, described as a "master manipulator," will be depicted as a baddie.

More news and spoilers should be available during the San Diego Comic Con, with cast members namely Jennifer Morrison (Emma), Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow), Lana Parrilla (Regina), Josh Dallas (Charming), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Colin O'Donoghue (Hook), Robert Carlyle (Rumple), Rebecca Mader (Zelena) and Sean Maguire (Robin Hood) sitting with co-creators and show runners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz in the panel.

The "Once Upon A Time" crew will be in the convention on July 11, 10am at Ballroom 20. An autograph signing event will follow at booth (#4245). Meanwhile, season 5 of the series is scheduled to premiere on September 28 with "The Dark Swan."
