After the success of the surprise single "Drag Me Down," fans have been anticipating the release of One Direction's new album.

The official release date will still need to be formally announced, but fans start to speculate that the release will be sometime in November, just like the band's other album releases.

But Siri and Walmart seem to have disagreed with the November release date — and spoiled the fun for all 1D fans.

According to a report from Sugarscape, iPhone's Siri dropped a big secret — that 1D's freshest album would be released on Sept, 10, which was last Thursday.

The bot gave out a very specific answer when it was asked. That's not all, Walmart also joined in and sort of gave away a big reveal for 1D fans.

In the same report, it was stated that a fan called Walmart customer service to ask when the band will be releasing their new album, to which customer service replied Friday, Sept. 11.

The fan recorded the phone call and uploaded it to Tumblr and that's when speculations started to arise.

One Direction's new album has been kept a big secret, and while Siri and Walmart might have spoiled the fun or made so many fans' hearts skip a beat, there is still no official word from the One Direction team.

The fifth album that's to come will be the group's first album without Zayn Malik, who left the band last March.

Had the album been released on the aforementioned dates, it would come as a big surprise much like their single "Drag Me Down," which also made a surprise entry this summer.

Meanwhile, "Drag Me Down" broke a record in Spotify for being the most streamed music during its first day of release.

The song also debuted big in 15 countries including Brazil, Canada, Hungary, the Philippines, Finland, and Portugal, among others, as reported in Billboard.
