"One Punch Man" season 1 ended with Saitama defeating Lord Boros, but as reported by the Bitbag, it is likely that Boros will return as the main villain for season 2 or at least for the beginning half of the season. The report also points out that there will be two other villains and that season 2 is likely to premiere this coming October.

Fans will recall that the first season premiered its first episode, "The Strongest Man," on Oct. 4 2015 and fans speculate that season 2 may follow a similar release time frame. However, delays could still push "One Punch Man" season 2 to a November or December release.

However, the studios have yet to give any sign that season 2 is going to be delayed and for this reason it is highly speculated that season 2 will air by the first or second week of October. Given that the series airs on Sundays it is possible that season 2 episode 1 will premiere either on Oct. 2 or Oct. 9.

According to the report, "One Punch Man" season 2 will see the return of Lord Boros who will train and gain more powerful than before in order to become Saitama's equal in terms of fighting strength. However, given that the manga source material has already passed this plot arc it is expected that Saitama will still defeat Boros with ease.

There is also a chance of Saitama going up against two new villains, identified as Amai Mask and Garou. Garou is being described as a powerful who might even be superior to Saitama in terms of brute power while Amai Mask is so fast that Saitama might not be able to use his signature punch against him.

Unfortunately, the studios have not yet given an official trailer to showcase which direction season 2 is going and what may have happened to Saitama's allies following the season 1 finale but these mysteries will be resolved when the show continues this October.
