'One Piece' chapter 799 spoilers: Luffy's battle against Admiral Fujitora continues in new chapter

"One Piece" official website

The petty fight between Monkey D. Luffy and Fujitora, also known as Admiral Issho, will actually happen when "One Piece" chapter 799 comes out this week.

In the previous chapter, the Marine Admiral declared that he would eliminate all the pirates on the island. As Fujitora's campaign against the pirates intensified, all the pirates decided to run away to avoid the admiral's wrath. However, Luffy decided that he would no longer allow any admiral to force him away from the island. That is why he ignored Usopp and Bartolomeo's warnings to dodge Fujitora and faced him head-on by attacking him with an Elephant Gun.

The battle between Luffy and Fujitora will resume in chapter 799. But can the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates stand against the admiral, who can levitate massive rubble on his own?

A spoiler showed Luffy throwing punches at Fujitora, but the admiral does not seem to be affected by it. Luffy is almost hit by falling debris from the rubble suspended on top of them, but he manages to dodge them. However, Fujitora cuts Luffy with his sword before the pirate could stand back.

Meanwhile, some fans believe that somebody will intervene in the middle of the fight, and it could either be the Heart Pirates' Trafalgar D. Water Law, Inspector General Sengoku the Buddha, Pirate Hunter Zoro, Kaido, or anyone from the Dressrosa Kingdom. Bartolomeo the Cannibal is also rumored to be helping Luffy, who is obviously the underdog in this fight.

If the fight will not be interrupted, other reports claim that "One Piece" creator Eiichiro Oda might be using the Luffy-Fujitaro fight as a filler before another time jump that could eventually help Luffy strengthen his powers.

This chapter is also believed to be setting the pace for a bigger event that will happen in the succeeding chapters. "One Piece" chapter 799 will be released on Thursday, Sept. 3.
