As it still remains a mystery why the said heirloom piece affects the Yonko pirate much, it is now speculated that the next chapter of the long-running and popular manga series "One Piece" will finally reveal the backstory of Mother Caramel. 

After displaying no reaction over the destruction of Pudding's wedding cake and Mother Caramel's picture in "One Piece" chapter 864, it turned out that the Yonko pirate was just confused as to what between the two events she should bother herself with more. Hence, when Bege showed Big Mom the broken pieces of the Mother Caramel picture and rubbed on her face the fact that her prized heirloom is beyond repair, Big Mom finally gave out a scream.

While Big Mom's meltdown will certainly make her vulnerable, it is suspected that the upcoming chapter 866 of "One Piece" will not feature her demise just yet. Rather, it is said that it is more likely for the next offering of the manga series to explore the history of the Mother Caramel picture and Mother Caramel's backstory as well.

If the last page of the current chapter is to be the basis, there is, indeed, the possibility for "One Piece" chapter 866 to reveal the connection of the Mother Caramel picture to Big Mom. As seen on the page in reference, Big Mom is teary-eyed as she recalled the sad event in her life.

To recall, Big Mom was seen talking to the picture in "One Piece" chapter 864, and called it "Mother." That was already a clear hint that Mother Caramel is, indeed, her mother who left her more than 60 years ago. As the word "Elbaf" is written on the last page of "One Piece" chapter 865, some can't help but speculate that it is the place where Mother Caramel headed when she left.
