Omega Force's "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" will be released today, adding more excitement to Koei Tecmo's Warriors series and bringing together the adventures, characters and special powers featured in "One Piece" series to create a more awesome video game.

"Warriors 3" will be a great game for fans who want to replay their favorite "One Piece" moments or for those who feel as if they're newly recruited pirates set on a wild journey.

According to Playstation's blog post, the game's story will begin with Fushia Village and will cover everything up to the Dressrosa arc.

However, the Dressrosa arc won't contain the true events that transpired in the series as the story is currently ongoing in the manga and anime series, as reported in Siliconera.

Omega Force had already discussed with Shueisha and Toei that it will be producing a different storyline specific to the game.

The Dressrosa arc in the game will feature Straw Hat's journey to the New World, with Donquixote Doflamingo stepping down and Luffy going after the title of Pirate King. Fans should expect something different since the story will diverge at some point.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco just announced that the game will offer a season pass and some pre-order bonuses.

Since it will arrive in selected platforms, associate brand manager Stephen Akana wrote that the season pass, costing $11.99, will include downloadable content (DLC) packs 1 and 2, which will feature eight quests and 18 costumes for fan favorite characters to wear.

For those who want to buy separate DLC packs, they can do so for $7.99 each.

Pre-ordering the digital game for PlayStation 3 (PS3) or PS4 will also give players exclusive costumes such as a fish costume for Luffy and Sabo dressing up as Lucy.

"One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" will arrive today, Aug. 25, for PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and personal computer (PC) platforms in the United States and on Aug. 28 in Middle East, Europe, and Australasia.
