The latest episode of the hit anime adaptation "One Punch Man" saw Saitama finally meeting the Dominator of the Universe, Lord Boros. Greeting the alien Lord with his signature punch, it seemed Saitama finally met his match as Lord Boros withstood the first hit.

In the next episode, the hit anime series appears to dovetail with the original manga chapter as it is teased that the two would be duking it out for a final showdown.

The upcoming episode will be titled "The Strongest Hero." It will also be the final episode for the first season.

The upcoming episode 12 will see Saitama take Lord Boros' Meteoric Burst, as the Dominator of the Universe will be rushing to end the match since fighting for a long time takes its toll on his body. The attack will send Saitama into outer space, but he will use his power to come back to Earth, and acknowledging that he may have finally met his match,  Saitama will finally unleash his "serious punch," TheBitBag said.

This means that up to that point, the newly promoted Class B hero has been hiding his true powers.

Meanwhile, the industry follower also added that while the two are duking it out on the spaceship's surface, the other heroes also continue in trying to take down Melzalgald, one of Lord Boros' top lieutenants.

Episode 11 saw the alien take down Silver Fang, but it seems that he is not yet down for the count, and the upcoming chapter will see him join Genos and the other Class S heroes take care of things on City A's surface. Although the heroes have already discovered Melzalgald's weakness, they would still have to band together to take down the monster.

The next episode of '"One Punch Man," titled "The Strongest Hero," will release on Monday, Dec. 21.
