While there have been reports that "One Punch Man" will air fresh episodes for season 2 sometime close to Halloween, rumors are now surfacing that the new episodes could be released sooner.

According to iTech report, there is a strong possibility that the second season of the highly successful anime could air as soon as the English-dubbed season 1 concludes.

The English-dubbed version is airing on Toonami and is expected to end this October if the current airing schedule stands unobstructed.

According to the report, Toonami showed Episodes 6 to 8 from August to Sept. 10. The remaining episodes are expected to air in October.

Meanwhile, the upcoming season is expected to pit Saitama against more powerful enemies and his adventure is bound to become more challenging since it is rumored that he will lose his power in some parts of the season.

Among those whom he is expected to face off are Garou, a powerful disciple of Bang. The battle with Garou is expected to be one of the biggest challenges for One Punch Man this season because he is the only one who is powerful enough to withstand Saitama's punches. It is yet unknown if the loss of the hero's power will be in time with his face off with Garou, so fans are quite excited to find out how he will manage to pull off a victory against such odds.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that he will lose his power in time for his battle with Amai Mask and this will result in a loss for the hero.

Another opponent is also expected to make a comeback. Lord Boros — who Saitama has defeated in the first season — will reportedly seek out the hero anew to take his revenge, Game n Guide reported.
