"One Punch Man" season 2 is underway, and according to a report from the IBTimes, a release date is likely going to be announced this month of September, hinting that the season will be released in Japan by October or November. As fans await the second season, the English-dubbed version of season 1 has finally released in the US.

The report points out that the network may announce when season 2 is coming out once the English-dubbed version of season 1 has ended. This means an announcement may be made before the end of the September since the series is nearing the season 1 finale where Saitama defeats Lord Boros.

However, the studios have yet to make any confirmation regarding this and there is still no official word when season 2 may be announced or when it may release. Given the popularity of the anime, it is likely to release very soon or at least before the end of the year since the manga source material already has enough content for the anime to adapt.

According to Ecumenical News, many fans are disappointed with the quality of the English voice acting for season 1 not because of the actors but because the script and translation is reportedly not as efficient as the Japanese lines. Because of this some of the deeper meaning from the Japanese script was lost in translation.

Adult Swim has yet to make any comment regarding their choices for the script and editing of the English lines for "One Punch Man."

Season 2 is rumored to further reveal Saitama's true power and may involve a second fight against Lord Boros, who did manage to survive the first fight with Saitama. After Lord Boros, Saitama is rumored to go up against some new villains such as Amai Mask and Garou since there were hints back in season 1 about them rising up as new antagonists.
