With "One Punch Man" season 2 confirmed, rumors are rife on the internet about possible storylines for the anime's sophomore season.

According to iTechPost, there is a possibility that the second season of "One Punch Man" could air by December this year. It was earlier speculated that the second season will air right after Toonami completes the airing of the anime's English dubbed episodes.

Fans should not fret, however, because if the series fails to pick up by December, it is likely to come out in the first quarter of 2017 so it will be just a short wait.

Based on a report by the Aussie News Network, Saitama's alleged opponents for the upcoming season includes Garou. However, Saitama might get a taste of his first defeat from his opponent as early as episode 1. It is bound to be an exciting fight because they are evenly matched in terms of skills and power.

Another possible plotline that "One Punch Man" might explore involves a potential romantic partner for Saitama. According to News Everyday, Saitama might fall in love with one of the female characters of the show. However, things will be made more complicated because he might be involved in a love triangle.

Among the love interests that he can be involved with are siblings Tatsumaki and Fubuki. Tatsumaki is described as an S-class rank 2 hero who is very serious about her job.

Fubuki, on the other hand is the opposite. She is the leader of Blizzard, and is a B-class hero but nurses an inferiority complex and a lack of confidence.

Meanwhile, the buzz is growing stronger that Saitama will have a rematch with Lord Boros, whom he defeated in the first season. It has been reported that Lord Boros would have gained more strength by season 2 and will likely want to avenge his defeat from One Punch Man.
