One Punch Man season 2 release date: English Dub of season 1 to prompt season 2 release?

One Punch ManMadhouse

Madhouse Studio's One Punch Man has one season to its credit thus far. And already, it has garnered an insanely large fan following. At the Anime Expo on the 1st of July this year, Adult Swim announced that the first season of the series would be dubbed into English and aired on the Toonami slot.

Enstars reveals the voice artists who have made the dubbed version a reality. Max Mittelman lends his voice to the central character, Saitama. Mittelman, as a voice artist, has popular video games such as Fire Emblem Fates and Fallout 4 to his credit.

The voice behind Genos in the Toonami version of One Punch Man is Zach Aguilar, while Robbie Daymond performs as Mumen Rider.

As for the second season of the show, there are rapidly circulating rumors that point to an October release, later this year. In fact, as Game N Guide goes on to predict, if the English Dub version hits it off well, the second season could premiere well before October.

However, a number of conflicting reports seem to increase the ambiguity involved in the debut of the upcoming season. Xbox360asylum.ca gives an account of this, revealing that while Cross Map hints at a November or December release, Yibada mentions a 2017 opening for the forthcoming season.

If there is some truth in that, then fans will have to wait a little longer to enjoy the next season. However, the English dubbed episodes on Toonami are sure to keep enthusiasts of the show satiated until next year.

The last episode in season 1 gave us the epic battle between our hero, Saitama, and Lord Boros. While a win for Saitama seemed nearly impossible, the odds were in his favor as he landed the winning punch. Reports and speculations suggest that the second season will continue along these lines, with Saitama being confronted in battle by three of the biggest villains on the show – Amai Mask, Garou, and Lord Boros.
