The adventures of Saitama in "One-Punch Man" season 1 was aired in December 2015. But fans are already looking forward to see how the powerful superhero will beat the villains with his potent single punch.

But according to The Bit Bag, a typical anime adaptation of a manga normally takes six to nine months or up to two years before a full new season can be produced. According to Otaku Art, anime series creator Murata Yusuke previously talked about his plans of "One-Punch Man" season 2 and said "I will work hard so that it will get a second season."

If Yusuke is serious about his intention of coming up with "Once-Punch Man" season 2 at the soonest possible time, The Bit Bag suggested that he must accomplish 100 sketches, 100 pages inked, 10 hours of editing, and 100 storyboards every day.

In the season 1 finale, Saitama went to the moon and back to fight Boros. But despite a severed arm, Boros kept on fighting the powerful protagonist with the help of his regenerative powers. However, Saitama managed to win in their epic battle.

The 12 episodes of "One-Punch Man" season 1 ran from Oct. 5 to Dec. 21 on TV Tokyo, and it was also streamed on Niconico and Hulu. The series was also released in North America through Viz Media and via Kaze U.K. in the U.K.

Meanwhile, an original video animation featuring the 10^th manga volume was released on Dec. 4. There are also several added OVA episodes that came out on Dec. 24 which contain all the season 1 episodes that were released in the market in Blu-ray Disc and DVD editions.

The "One-Punch Man" anime series was adapted from the ongoing Japanese webcomic series created by an author using the pseudonym One. More details about the second season of "One-Punch Man" are expected to be released soon.
