Mobile phone manufacturer OnePlus is exhausting all its efforts to build major hype around its flagship, the OnePlus 2. Over the past weeks, morsels of details about the handset were revealed, but the puzzle still has many pieces left and the China-based tech firm has its way of revealing them.

Just recently, OnePlus CEO and Founder Liu Zuohu asked fans via Weibo "how to define full metal." It is still unclear whether or not this pertains to the OnePlus 2 but since Zuohu has been mentioning the device in Weibo, many assume that he's hinting at the handset coming in a full metal body. Android Authority also shared a render of the device from Weibo, showing OnePlus 2 in all its full metal glory.

Aside from OnePlus 2 housed in full metal, the device may also boast a dual-lens camera just above the newly unveiled fingerprint sensor, if a couple of leaked sketches obtained by Business Insider are anything to go by.

The sketches show that it might come with an 8-megapixel camera on the front, which is impressive compared to what other flagships sport. Usually, premium devices from competitors use 5-megapixel cameras. What this means is that OnePlus is doing a major upgrade on the imaging department.

It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor v2 and will use a USB Type-C port.

The OnePlus 2 will be officially unveiled on July 27 via what the company touts as the first ever Virtual Reality product launch. In order to be part of the device's arrival, fans would need a OnePlus cardboard. Unfortunately, the stocks have run out.

Just recently, the company gave away cardboards so users can take part in the event. While the company doesn't charge anything for the accessory, users still have to cover the shipping fee, which is around $5, much better than paying $20 for the gizmo itself. Now, they are all out and there's no word about possible restocking. The cardboards will be shipped July 10.
