From the success of its first iteration touted as a "flagship killer," China-based OnePlus has followed-up with a second edition, the OnePlus Two. However, although it has a growing market segment, some fans have had trouble getting their hands on the newest flagship as OnePlus once again promoted the OnePlus Two via an invite-only purchase.

This Black Friday, however, OnePlus will be opening its doors to fans to openly purchase the OnePlus Two even without an invite.

According to CNET, OnePlus will open its online store for fans to purchase an unlocked OnePlus Two even without an invite. This means that interested buyers of OnePlus Two can bid on a handset immediately on the OnePlus website even without a purchase code.

However, the promo is available only for a limited time. Fans can get the OnePlus Two directly from the website from Black Friday, Nov. 27 until next Monday, Nov. 30.

This is the second time that OnePlus has relaxed its invite-only practice to consumers. Last year, the China-based company also sold its OnePlus One flagship without any invites during the 2014 Black Friday Sale, together with discounted prices on other OnePlus products.

The OnePlus Black Friday open sale event for this year is not limited to U.S. fans of the OnePlus Two. According to a post on the OnePlus blogsite, the Black Friday open sale event is currently ongoing for Indian fans. Starting at 12 a.m. on Nov. 25 until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 27, fans can get a OnePlus Two directly, without any invite from Amazon India.

The OnePlus Two, together with the OnePlus X, are the two recent flagships of OnePlus. While the OnePlus X caters to the budget-conscious fans with its midrange specs, the OnePlus Two is a premium flagship, and costs around $330 and $390 for the 16- and 64-GB versions, respectively.
