OnePlus lineups are dubbed as "flagship killers" because they offer the same top-tier specs and design but with a budget-friendlier price tags. The rumored OnePlus 3 is no exception, and if the supposed specs sheet for the new flagship comes true, it will be a monster iteration with 6 GB of RAM.

The new flagship has been reportedly spotted in several benchmarking websites like GFXBench and Geekbench. Codenamed as Rain A3000, the supposed OnePlus 3 shapes up to be a true flagship killer, with a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.0-inch display with 1080p resolution, a 16-MP main camera and 8-MP selfie snapper.

Meanwhile, the two supposed specs sheets have subtle differences, particularly with the on-board memory – one lists a 4-GB variant, while the other benchmark website says the OnePlus 3 features 6 GB of RAM.

According to TechnoBuffalo, it may be possible that the OnePlus 3 will be a full lineup with at least two versions, as this has been the recent norm in flagship releases. Allegedly, the 4-GB RAM version could be the base model OnePlus 3, while the 6-GB RAM variant may be marketed as a top-tier, premium version of the flagship. It may also come out as the bigger version of the flagship, since the 6-GB RAM variant is said to feature a 5.5-inch display, which can be seen as a "Plus" version.

Meanwhile, it can also be seen that the 6-GB RAM version will be the base model for the OnePlus 3, and the 4-GB one as a step-down version of the flagship (like what HTC recently did with the HTC 10 release).

However, although the supposed specs sheet has been gleaned from benchmark sites, the internals and design for the OnePlus 3 remain as speculations, until OnePlus comes out with firmed-up details. It is said that OnePlus fans will not have to wait that long though, as rumors say that the OnePlus 3 will be unveiled towards the end of next month, with May 28 at the latest.
